THE IMPACT OF WEB COMMUNICATION ON SPEECH CULTURE OF STUDENTS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION (A CASE OF ALTAI STATE INSTITUTE OF CULTURE)

Annotation:  The influence of Internet communications on the speech culture of students is an important aspect of the study in the educational organization of higher education, as speech culture is one of the Central categories of the basic culture of man, demonstrates his mental development, moral and spiritual values, communication skills. The leading components of speech culture are: normative, communicative, meaningful, ethical. The communicative component is formed from the moment of formation of the personality, develops and improves in the system of continuous education, being the basis for the integration of the individual into society. In modern conditions, the role of the Internet in communication between people is increasingly increasing, the process of face-to-face communication is replaced by online (virtual) communication. This phenomenon entails the transformation of human consciousness and thinking, awareness of its role in society, profession, family. The process of communication and interaction between people becomes virtual. The Internet is the focal point for positioning the capabilities of the individual, giving a wide range for interaction and communication. Internet communication − a way of communication in which information is transmitted, it is exchanged virtually on the Internet. The mass use of Internet communications naturally led to the use of the Internet language as a new form of language interaction. Internet language is the slang, the jargon used by the participants in the Internet. The authors of the article studied the main aspects of the use of Internet communications by students of educational institutions of higher education (in March 2018, more than fifty students of the Altai state Institute of culture, Barnaul, Russia were interviewed). The article presents examples of popular speech formulas used in modern Internet communication, discloses the content of individual units of Internet slang, provides predictive estimates of the possibility of replacing the "network" jargon traditional vocabulary and phraseology in everyday speech of students of educational institutions of higher education.
