Annotation:  The author offered model of division into districts of water areas of natural and anthropogenic water ecosystems which allows to allocate sites with various ecological tension. Models are the cornerstone on indicators of phytoplankton and a microphytobenthos. Approbation of model on the example of the Voronezh reservoir allowed to allocate three sites in its water area. The water ecosystem in the top site is in an intermediate position between the ecological tension and ecological regress. On average site the water ecosystem is in a condition of ecological tension due to manifestation of ecoton properties. The ecological situation in the lower site of a reservoir is characteristic of the level of anthropogenic ecological regress and represents the estimated scenario of adverse development of the Voronezh reservoir. Calculation values of indexes of Pantle-Bukk in V. Sladechek's modification and T. Watanabe has shown increase in extent of pollution of a reservoir downstream
