Annotation: Arterial hypertension is often accompanied by the presence of depressive conditions, which contributes to the formation of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, the development of the latter leads to inappropriate nutrition and eating disorders, chronic psycho-emotional overload, constant disturbance of sleep and wakefulness, concomitant use of medications that affect the motility of the digestive tract. Therapy of such patients requires close attention due to the high prevalence of pathology and the quality of life of patients. n this paper, the analysis of various regimens for the therapy of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as the treatment of patients in the cross of functional pathology in a clinic. In the treatment of patients, the presence of concomitant arterial hypertension was considered. Treatment of such patients requires the appointment of several drugs, long selection and correction of therapy, taking into account the risk of drug interactions. The study took into account the dynamics of clinical symptoms of functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, the stability of remission, the presence of significant drug interactions in the treatment of arterial hypertension and functional pathology, the cost of therapy, adherence of patients to therapy. The use of the complex herbal preparation Iberogast © for the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders in comparison with monotherapy with proton pump inhibitors or prokinetics is the best option, since it helps to reduce the costs of treatment, minimize the time of selection of therapy, and does not cause the development of drug interaction in the presence of comorbid pathology and promotes the preservation of persistent remission after drug withdrawal
