Influence of successful for satisfaction by the professional activity of higher school teachers undertaken by administrative activity

Annotation:  The obviousness of the present moment in the reform of the education system is that the academic environment in modern Russia is being transformed, and the process of transformation concerns both its organizational and status level and the functional content. There is an expansion of competencies, the inclusion of administrative and service components. In connection with the changes in the life of society, there arises an objective need for the application of new, more effective methods for increasing the success of teachers in higher education who are engaged in administrative activities, which in turn directly depends on satisfaction with professional activities. There is a need for a more holistic study of the phenomenon of the success of professional activity of teachers of higher education who are engaged in administrative activities through the prism of satisfaction. The article presents the results of an empirical study, the goal was to identify the presence of the impact of success on the satisfaction of professional activity of teachers of higher education involved in administrative activities. The sample included 28 teachers of higher education institutions engaged in administrative activities. The comparison group consisted of 23 teachers of higher educational institutions, not engaged in administrative activities. Reliability of the results of the conducted research was achieved through the use of methods of qualitative and quantitative data analysis, known statistical methods. The teachers of higher education, engaged in administrative activities, professional activity is focused on the result (orientation to career, recognition, fame), they evaluate their personal success only through external recognition. With the help of regression analysis, a high probability of the influence of "Self-efficacy" on the scale "The opportunity to achieve social recognition, respect" (b = -2.6290 p = 0.03 (p <0.05)) was revealed. Recognition and respect are key factors of job satisfaction for high school teachers involved in administrative activities
