Annotation:  The article discusses the current issues of the spatial structure of rural settlements choirs European Bosporus. A comprehensive analysis of different groups of sources to identify common features and differences monuments of the Kerch Peninsula. Based on the location of the settlement, the data on their improvement suggests the functional significance of fortresses. The main characteristics of the monuments reflected in the summary tables.
