To the issue of expressivity of parenthetical insertions in publicistic text

Annotation:  The article describes the usage of some syntactical elements included into parenthetical insertions. The main object of this research is a parenthetical phrase, its pragmatical usage in a publicistic text. The authors support the idea of the importance of this type of parenthesis as a means of expressive syntax that conveys the addresser’s attitude towards the message. The main aim of the article is to prove the expressive potential of such parenthetical phrases on the basis of English publicistic texts. The authors analyze the definitions of such constructions, describe their main features, and give real examples of their usage, commenting on their semantic meaning.
