Annotation:  In the article possibilities of biotechnologies of human enhancement technologies, positive and negative aspects in perfection of human nature and also risk factors connected with its realization are discussed. The author defines a moral dilemma: on the one side, hopes and expectations in the field of overcoming the biological limitations inherent in man as a finite being, on the other side – the consequences of biotechnological strengthening. The article actualizes the previous experience of mankind, confirming that the new achievements of science should be treated with caution and implement them, considering all possible consequences. The author denotes ethical, religious, philosophical, social aspects of the problems of biotechnological improvement of human nature. The assessment of the potential social, ethical and legal implications of Human Enhancement technologies is difficult due to the diversity of contexts in which Human Enhancement technologies are used. Society today faces a problem: what kind of human will he be? Will humanity be happier with technology? These and similar issues require humanitarian examination of Human Enhancement biotechnology projects.
