Annotation:  Intensification of the educational process in universities is not possible without modern technology, outside the act of communication. Social network is a global educational space. «Modern» teachers actively use communication tools to transmit information to students. One of them is the social networks that are actively introduced into our life. Teachers of the Department of Faculty Surgery at the Medical Institute are keeping abreast of modern technologies - the group they created in the social network «VKontakte» revealed the creative, intellectual and scientific potential of students, motivated them to learn, formed a favorable psychological microclimate in the field of «teacher-student» and «student-student».
