Annotation:  The article deals with the economic aspects of the production of essential oil products in the Russian Federation. The necessity of increasing the volume of production of essential oil raw materials and products in connection with Russia's significant dependence on the import of essential oils and their derivatives is substantiated. The statistical indicators of the cultivation of essential oil raw materials, features of production and factors affecting its effectiveness are analyzed. The features of displaying the indicators of growing essential oil raw materials in the state statistics system are considered. A refined and augmented system of indicators characterizing the economic efficiency of essential oil production is proposed. In conclusion, the article made conclusions on the study, which proposed measures that will more fully reflect the state of essential oil production in the Russian Federation and further contribute to an increase in the production of essential oil products and the sustainable development of essential oil production.
