Annotation:  The article analyzes the role and place of culture in the doctrine of classical Eurasianism that took shape in the 1920s in the circle of Russian emigration. The reasons for the close attention of Eurasians to culture, which even expressed a statement about the "primacy of culture over the public", are explained. The role of the geographical factor in the understanding of Russian culture by Eurasians is assessed. The place of culture in the Eurasian model of government is considered. The weak points of the Eurasian view of Russian culture are the Eurasian view of the non-European nature of Russian pre-revolutionary culture, as well as their belief in the existence of a “Eurasian” culture as already established in their time.
