Annotation:  The article presents the author's position on modern legislative approaches to the legalization of the principles of judicial power in the Russian Federation. Among these approaches are named and characterized constitutional and legislative. At the same time, the latter terminologically connects the principles with the activities of courts and legal proceedings. Giving the characteristic of legalization taking into account various criteria, the classification on the basis of legal-technical and substantial parameters is specified. The author associated the constitutional approach with the legalization of the principles of judicial power in Russia through the formalization of a limited number of special principles in a separate Chapter from the General industry and other sectoral principles. The article contains proposals aimed at improving the legislation in connection with the formalization of the principles of the judiciary.
