Annotation: The problem of adherence to patients of drug therapy is very relevant today. This is especially true of patients with cardiovascular pathology and impaired cerebral circulation in history. Research was conducted in regional clinical hospital of St. Joseph or the Regional cardiac center (Belgorod) and National Scientific Center "N.D. Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology» (Ukraine, Kiev) in order to study the relationship of the degree of compliance from various factors in patients with cardiovascular diseases who have had a cerebral stroke. The study involved 87 people (56,3 ± 5,8) years without pronounced cognitive impairment. Patients divided by treatment adherence by the Moriska-Green test, we identified three groups of patients - group 1 (23 patients) were fully committed to therapy, group 2 (46 patients) were insufficient and 18 patients were not adherent to treatment. Conclusions were made by analyzing the results of the survey, they showed that, in general, patients have a high level of adherence to therapy, which depends on medical, social and individual aspects. Special meaning for the formation of high compliance with the therapy is the psychological mood of patients for lifestyle changes (diet, physical activity, smoking cessation), regular monitoring of the main indicators of their body (blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol test), frequent visits to the doctor and confidence in him an attitude.
