Annotation:  The paper considers the problem of simulation modeling of filtration processes into the soil of water contaminated with waste from the mining and processing plant. To develop the simulation model, the author's technology of system object simulation is used, which is based on the system approach "NodeFunction-Object". The implementation of the simulation model is carried out using the software tools "UFOModeler". The constructed simulation model is a set of UFO-elements (Node-Function-Object), which in turn represent subsystems of a mining and processing plant with processing of ore and sending an "empty" rock through a slurry pipeline to the tailings subsystem in which chemical wastes are stored. In the framework of the system-object model, flow and node objects were described in terms of the calculus of functional objects. Functional nodes are defined using a special language UFO-script, which allows to simulate the operation of individual subsystems. On the developed model, experiments are conducted to model chemical contamination of the soil. On the basis of the obtained model data, graphical dependences of the capacity of various elements of the tailing dumps are constructed.
