The image of V.N. Kokovtsov on the pages of the emigrant press (as exemplified in the materials of the newspaper «Rrevival»)

Annotation:  The article is devoted to the depicting of the image of count Vladimir Nikolaevich Kokovtsov in the pages of the emigrant newspaper "Vozrozhdenie". Based on the analysis of articles that mention the figure of the Count and his notes in the newspaper for the period from 1925 to 1940-ies presented the main facets of personal and social life of V.N. Kokovtsov in exile. His activity as Chairman of the Russian Committee of the United organizations is revealed, his role as a friend of the Chairman of the parish Council of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Paris is shown. The article analyzes his contribution to the preservation and development of the corporate culture and historical memory as the Chairman of the Society of former pupils of the Imperial Alexander Lyceum. The article shows the activities of Count V.N. Kokovtsov as chairman of the Council of the Union of Russian Knights of the Legion of Honor, it was noted that, being a convinced monarchist, he became one of the founders in 1922 of the Union of zealots for the memory of Emperor Nicholas II, and from 1926 to 1936 was its chairman.
