Annotation:  In the conditions of the modern dynamically developing world, requirements and conditions for business development in Russia are tightened. Against the background of turbulent environment, unstable political situation and weak ruble, tourism industry enterprises are forced to form and fully develop a competitive management system that meets the requirements of international standards. In this regard, the risk management system, which will have to be created by enterprises within the framework of the management system, can become a resource of attractiveness for investors and a factor of success in foreign and domestic markets. The purpose of the article is to describe the technological approach in the process of managing the risks of the enterprises of the tourism industry. In this regard, this article introduces proposals for the application of risk management technology in the tourism industry, which is a set of methods and tools for identifying, assessing and analyzing risks, as well as developing strategies and tactics for influencing emerging risks with subsequent monitoring of their condition. The results of the research conducted by the author during the writing of the article and described in it have a certain theoretical and practical significance and can be used to improve the management mechanisms of the tourism industry enterprises
