Extreme travel journalism. To the definition of the concept

Annotation:  The subject of consideration in the article are extreme travel journalism as the newest professional sphere. Extreme travel journalism today has been formed as a separate professional sphere of a broader concept - travel or travel journalism. This sphere of journalistic activity has its own distinct features. For extreme travel journalism, there are special thematic areas. The subject of displaying this particular sphere of journalistic creativity is, first of all, the aspect of survival in dangerous conditions. These programs contain a pronounced pragmatic aspect: they include useful advice, valuable guidance on survival in the wild and extreme conditions. The second thematic group includes programs on extreme sports and extreme travel, which recently attracted more attention from the "hunters for adrenaline." And, finally, the third thematic group of programs - programs about dangerous animal predators and interaction with them, which in real life can not be possible. All these types of programs require special professional training of the journalist. It is worth noting the high level of physical training necessary for the work on this type of program. In professional and creative terms, an extremist journalist is, above all, a universal. First of all, this is due to the specifics of his work. The more complex and dangerous the subject of his display, the less likely that the crew will accompany the hero's expedition.
