A man with disabilities of health and movement: representation of image in movie

Annotation: The aim of the article is to present the results of an analysis of the image of a person who has limitations on health and movement opportunities in movies. The study showed that the image of the user of a wheelchair is most represented in the films of the following genres: war movie, drama, comedy, horror, fantasy, fanta-sy, thriller. The subject who can move only with the help of a wheelchair is shown to the audience in the following images: a hero, a victim of circumstances, an influential rich man, a manipulator, a pseudo-wheeler. The study revealed the prospects of considering films about wheelchair users through the prism of genres, countries, producers, ratings, number of Pro-views, budgets, return on investment.
