Means of contemporary English language in the representation of landscape design trends

Annotation:  The article deals with the analysis of major linguistic means representing contemporary trends in landscape and urban design in Europe and the US. The study was made on the material of architectural reviews published on relevant professional websites. A number of English lexemes have been selected, which are used to represent the concepts of eco-friendliness, accessibility and shared space. Among others, such lexical units include adjectives built with the suffix “able / -ible” (denoting “ability”), as well as neologisms, which are usually quite common with mass media texts. The trends expressed with the lexical means quoted in the article, are typical of numerous fields of human activity
