Annotation: The article discusses the correlation of ethical and aesthetic principles in the structure of Dante's Paradise. The author aims to identify the criteria of the hierarchical distribution of souls through the celestial spheres of Paradise, based on the idea of "the chosen sin" ("the aesthetics of the soul") as "harmonious impulse to perfect" (Aristotle)
