The designated question is the purpose of the study. Its tasks are defined as a brief examination of the concepts defining the country frames of the "Black Sea region" and the conduct of quantitative and qualitative content analysis of the topics of dissertations devoted to the countries of the Black Sea region within the framework of the political science specialty. The object of the study are the theoretical aspects of the analysis of the Black Sea region. The subject is the countries of the Black Sea region in the concepts and theses of political science in Russia.
