Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump: seeking balance in the modern geopolitical interests of Russia and The United States

Annotation: This article offers an overview of some the most prominent features of the process of finding effective and lasting solutions to secure political relations between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. The article displays the main factors that affect the negotiation process and the context in which the leaders of Russia and the United States make decisions at present. So, in this study, I intend to consider a possible convergence of geopolitical interests of both Russia and the United States and investigate the most probable compromising solution that can be beneficial for both parties. In addition, this article outlines and explores past negotiations that have taken place between president Putin and Trump, and also substantiates the prerequisites for the possible agreements and mutually beneficial geopolitical decisions.
