On discurse anthropocentrism and linguistic personality

The paper describes the category of «linguistic identity» in modern linguistic studies, both in Russia and
abroad. It is shown that the anthropocentric paradigm is firmly at the center of modern scientific
knowledge. The language personality is regarded as a certain type of linguistic identity, functioning in the
framework of specific ways to exchange communication information. Epistemology of scientific
approaches and research concepts is considered in personological key. Universal and national-cultural
ways of verbalization of linguistic identity relate to a certain type of categorization of reality. Prospects of
research methods verbalization linguistic identity are seen as part of a comprehensive analysis of
communicative behavior, based on a multidisciplinary approach. Using this technique, it is possible to
provide additional parameters of the language person of this type. The elements of institutional linguistic
identity are considered. In particular, in the text of this article, elements of the institutional language
personality are examined in the context of this theory. A special case of an individual of this type is the academic language personality. This kind of linguistic personality integrates at once two types - linguonormative
and linguo-creative
