Economic efficiency of configuration of alternative energy system in Crimea

Annotation:  This article is devoted to the problem of "green energy" in the Crimean Peninsula. The authors studied the main alternative energy sources currently available to the Crimean Peninsula. The aim of the study is to identify a cost-effective configuration of an alternative energy system in Crimea. To achieve this goal, we examined the features, advantages and disadvantages of the main types of renewable energy sources: solar, wind, biogas energy, identified the main elements and conditions of economic efficiency of the alternative energy system in Crimea. Based on the analysis of the features, advantages and disadvantages of solar, wind and biogas power plants and the climate features of the Crimean Peninsula, the article developed a conceptual configuration of renewable energy sources (hereinafter RES) of the region’s energy system, which provides its economic efficiency; the algorithm of its operation is developed in the article based on the identified typical possible situations in the renewable energy system of the region.
