Agenda of modern network Media: political aspect

Annotation:  The agenda is the most important instrument of influence on public and political consciousness in conditions of modern political and communicative processes. Public, political and media actors play an active role in shaping of the specific political content of agendas. Networked media has a special significance in the modern society and the study of political content of these media is an extremely relevant research task. The author used such research methods as content analysis and comparative analysis in order to study the political news content of the network media. All news headlines on political topics can be divided into at least three thematic categories: «World Politics», «Foreign Policy» and «Domestic Policy». There is a significant prevalence of news headlines of the categories «World Politics» and «Foreign Policy» in terms of frequency of occurrence. There are a list of names of states that are most often presented in the political news headlines of the studied media. Such topics as recruitment of elites and personnel changes, elections and election campaigns, as well as direct dialogue between the government and society compose the content of «Domestic Policy» thematic categories more often. The obtained results can contribute to a more accurate understanding of political content of the network media agenda.
