Particular attention is paid to the social and psychological aspects because of economic changes had a strong influence on the social psychology of all Russian classes. It should be considered the second half of the 19th century was a turning point, both in the minds of the nobles and the merchants. So they built a new model of social relations which was radically different from the previous one. Image to the merchants in the Russian society was ambiguous and sometimes negative but the socio-psychological boundaries of the Russian society because of capitalization could disappear completely. Particularly this problem is vividly illustrated by the memories of representatives of the nobility and merchants of 70–80 years of the 19th century. And by the end of the 19th century, we see a change in the socio-psychological orientations of both classes.
