Agreement between the USSR and Agro-Joint (1924) in context of myth of «Crimean California»

Annotation:  There are number of leads concerning the issue of projects of the creation of Jewish autonomy in the USSR. In particular, this applies to role of the «Agro-Joint» in financial assistance of Jewish colonization. The Agro-Joint activities in the USSR defined by agreement between them and Soviet Government (1924). The author published the document for the first time. According to the document, Agro-Joint undertakes to support Jewish colonization in the Soviet Union. This support is consist of financial assistance, support with equipment and Agrarian training. «Agro-Joint» granted legal status within the border of the USSR. The status was close to governmental organization. However, several points restricted activities of Agro-Joint. Further agreements (1927, 1929, 1933) didn’t сhange core of agreement. Creation of Jewish national territorial unit much less transfer or bounding of some land as it claim supporters of conspiracy theory was not subjects of agreement. All articles exclusively related to conduction purporting Jewish settlement in the USSR and legal status of Agro-Joint. It could be consider proven that proposals of creation Jewish autonomy in steppe Ukraine and Crimea come from Soviet representatives, mainly members of Komzet (Committee for the Settlement of Toiling Jews on the Land) and Ozet (Society for Settling Toiling Jews on the Land).
