The dynamics of the students' health state in the process of implementing the technology of organizing a health-saving educational process in the classroom at the university

Annotation:  Presents the results of the experience of applying the technology of organizing a health-saving educational process in the classroom at the university. The purpose of this technology is to preserve the physical, mental and social health of students in the classroom at the university. Today, contradictions are revealed between the increasing demands of society for a graduate of higher education and the health-care mechanisms that operate in it. This actualizes the need to develop a technology for organizing a health-saving educational process in the classroom at the university. The presented technology assumes variations in conducting lectures and practical exercises on the preservation of the physical, mental and social components of students' health. The lecture session includes the organizational, informative, procedural and reflexive stages. Practical lesson contains motivational-stimulating, substantive-orienting, procedural, control-adjusting, reflexive stages. The risk factors for students' health during lectures and practical exercises at the university were studied. An insufficient level of students' health was established as a result of such factors as stressful pedagogical tactics of teachers (authoritarianism); student immobility; ignoring their individual characteristics and dynamics of performance. Such indicators of students 'health were investigated as optimal working posture, physical well-being, mental performance, degree of emotionality in class, mental and social components of students' health. The following pedagogical conditions are theoretically substantiated and practically tested: saturation of the educational process with health-saving elements (techniques, means); accounting teacher mental, physical performance and individual characteristics of students; methodological support of the organization of health-saving educational process in the classroom at the university; psychological, theoretical and technological readiness of the teacher to preserve the health of students in the classroom. The experimental technology was implemented on the basis of the Transnistrian State University named after T.G. Shevchenko and Kamenetz-Podolsk National University Ivan Ogienko
