METHODICAL FEATURES OF TRAINING OF TEACHERS TO DESIGN AND CONDUCTING ELECTIVE COURSES OF MATHEMATICAL AND ECONOMIC PROFILE

Annotation:  Scientific and technological progress and the transition to the information society impose new requirements on knowledge, General and applied nature of education, pointing to the need to improve the level of General scientific training. One of the basic principles of modernization of education is the profile differentiation. Lectures allow students to form ideas about the integration of mathematical and economic knowledge, the concept and types of elective courses and elective courses, their place in the education system at the senior level of the school, the General requirements for their construction, the structure of the program, as well as the forms, methods of control of educational achievements of students in profile training. Also in the course of lectures there is an actualization of students 'knowledge about active teaching methods, forms of control and evaluation of students' results. Seminars are aimed at the formation of skills to determine the goals and objectives of elective courses, selection of content and determining the location of tasks within the elective course, the development of programs of elective courses in accordance with the requirements for them, as well as skills to create materials to control the assimilation of the content of the elective course. The article deals with the content of a special course to prepare teachers for the design and creation of elective courses of mathematical and economic profile. The structure and examples of tasks for practical training are given. Methodical features of work of the teacher on the developed special course are specified.
