Communications with the public as a tool for the suppression of the national security of the Transnistria state

Annotation:  The article is devoted to the problem of the place of such phenomenon as public relations in the national security of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republik. The emphasis in work is on national security as the ability to preserve such parameters of the nation as self-reproduction, self-preservation and self-improvement. The paper presents a range of normative legal acts that contain the principles of ensuring national security, institutions and ways to ensure it. This study presents a number of public relations insti-tutes most influential in ensuring national security in the Republic. These include special units for public relations in government bodies, the media, children's and youth organizations of an educative, cultural and patriotic type. Through them, communication channels are established with the society, public and political organizations, citizens. With their help, the information security of the Republic is also ensured. The article concludes that the institution of public relations in the Republic creates a protected infor-mation space, contributes to establishing trustful relations between society and power and the unity of the elements of the political system. Thus, one of the protective mechanisms of national security develops.
