Creating a national militia and the role of labor organizations of the united council of labour collect

Annotation:  The article investigates the process of creating the popular forces to ensure the safety and protection of the civilian population in the Transnistrian period, and then an armed conflict between Transnistria and Moldova in 1990–1992. Particular attention is paid to the activities of public workers' organization – Joint Council of labor collectives (UCWC) Transnistria, which played a major role not only in the formation of the Transnistrian statehood, but also in the formation of the People's Militia, who has assumed full responsibility for the protection of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic citizens from armed aggression by Moldova. The relevance of the study is due to the significance of the participation of the national militia under the leadership of Transdniestria UCWC labor organization in the process of creation and the protection of their own state of education in the region. The obtained data can serve as an additional source of information about the period of the creation of new states in the former Soviet Union.
