Annotation:  The article analyzes the complex military and political situation in the Persian Gulf before and during the conduct of the United States and its allies of the international coalition military operations against Iraq, charged with production and possession of weapons of mass destruction, as well as the support of the international terrorism. Identified causes hard anti-France and Germany against Iraq to U.S. actions and the consequences of such behavior for the middle East policy of the European Union in the specified period
